Danielle Gabrielle Roy, founder of Roy et Reines, offers gentle and welcoming creative workshops designed specifically for older adults. Through writing, drawing, collage, and conversation, participants are invited to explore their creativity, reconnect with memories, and share their life experiences in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
No artistic skills are required. Everyone participates at their own pace, according to their abilities and how they feel that day.
Each session begins with a welcoming moment and a group discussion around a theme. Danielle then guides participants through an accessible creative activity that may combine intuitive writing, drawing, collage, and the sharing of memories.
The workshop concludes with a group discussion or a short personal reflection, depending on the participants’ energy and needs.
Themes and activities can be adapted to the residents’ level of independence, the number of participants (6 to 12 people), and the specific needs of the residence.
